To operate as a truly sustainable business, that commitment has to be considered in every facet of the operation. And so we do. Our packaging is all distributed with a view to minimise impact. Our buckets are cleaned and reused, our bags compostable, and our shipping boxes are all repurposed. Trees are right at the heart and soul of the business: our annual planting with the Forest of Marston Vale and the small firs in our front yard reflect the sanctity of the green Bedfordshire countryside that we’ve made our home.

But this commitment expands beyond just the environmental; as beneficiaries of the vast supply chain that sources the global coffee market, we also must operate with a view to a range of social responsibilities as well. Which is why we’ve always ran with Fairtrade certification on our house coffees. It’s our way of guaranteeing the coffee we supply is farmed, processed, and shipped ethically.
